Annaghdown Heritage Society are delighted to announce details of our summer outing.
Saturday, June 15th trip to Portumna Workhouse and Portumna Castle.
Itinerary:
10am bus pick up from Corrandulla
11.30 – arrival at Portumna Workhouse for a guided tour, tea and biscuits after.
1.00 – arrival at Portumna Castle for guided tour.
Portumna Castle has a tea room and you can choose to eat there if you so wish.
2.30 – leaving Portumna Castle
4.00 – arrival back at Corrandulla
The cost will be €25 per person including bus, entry and guided tours at both Portumna Workhouse and Castle and refreshments at Portumna Workhouse. Please note that lunch is not included.
I need to get an idea of numbers so would appreciate it greatly if you could get back to me as soon as possible if you would like to come along.
Members and friends are welcome – this outing is not limited to members of the society.
