Dr Christy Cunniffe: Religious and Secular Iconography on 18th- and 19th-century Funerary Monuments

Dr Christy Cunniffe will deliver a lecture entitled A discussion of the Religious and Secular Iconography found on 18th- and 19th-century Funerary Monuments” in the AHS Heritage Room at the Old Girls’ School, Corrandulla on Tuesday 26 November at 8pm.

Christy is employed as Community Archaeologist by the Heritage Office of Galway County Council through the Galway Community Archaeology Advisory Project, with the brief of creating greater public awareness about archaeology.

All are welcome to attend. There is no charge for admittance and tea will be served as usual following the lecture.
