The Wells of Annaghdown

Join us for our Heritage Week event on Sunday 26 August at 5pm, focussing on the history and folklore of stone-built water wells in the parish. Meeting at Cunniffes carpark in Cloonboo, we will visit two local wells: Tobar a’ Bhaile in Cloonboo and the nearby village well in Creggduff. All are welcome to come along.
This event is part of our project ‘A Record of the Stone-Built Wells of Annaghdown Parish’, funded by the Heritage Council under the EYCH Community Heritage Grant Scheme 2018.
