Annaghdown Heritage Society has recently installed a Spitfire conference webcam and a 50 inch TV monitor. This state of the art audio-visual equipment will facilitate the participation of our overseas and distant domestic members during Society lectures and meetings. The monitor will also enhance the visual experience of members and the general public during activities such as our Corrandulla Show open day.
The Society would like to recognise the ongoing support of Galway County Council and its Heritage Office. In particular, we acknowledge the award of a Community Support Scheme grant (CCS23/0105) for the purchase of the monitor and the Community Enhancement Grant (CEP23/0091) for the purchase of the TV. This latter grant also funded our current public liability insurance costs.
